Older workers are valuable additions to workplaces in Rhode Island. Their years of experience provides insight and knowledge into many aspects of running a business. However, sometimes older workers are considered "dinosaurs" who are "behind the times," and not worth the high salaries they have spent years working to earn. However, what older workers need to understand is that age discrimination exists, and it is against the law.
When you’re looking for a job, you may not be concerned about whether an application has illegal questions.
